16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. – Ephesians 4:16 NLT 

When we started passing out meals to people living in the weekly and extended stay motels in Branson, we had absolutely no idea that so many lives were going to be transformed, our own included. We started with 48 meals in our living room and currently pass out 570 meals, over 50,000 since we started, with close to 100 volunteers wanting to make a difference each week. As we reached out to the hidden homeless of our community, we started to see needs arise beyond the physical hunger. With the help of many caring people, volunteers, community and financial partners, we were able to expand our efforts by hosting monthly BBQ’s and weekly “Life Support” discussion groups held at the motels. The BBQ’s were a chance to build relationships while the weekly discussion groups offered a safe place to explore God. We added a bike program to help with transportation needs for those who have no means of transportation, a monthly internet church service for people far from God who are skeptical of traditional church and will be hosting our 4th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner serving approximately 500 people.

We’ve had to run these outreaches at different locations due to physical space and financial availability reasons, while faithfully praying for a centralized location that many of our clientele could walk to. It seems as if God has answered that prayer by providing us with a donated space located on the 76 strip – it couldn’t be a better fit. The location is ideal but needs a lot of remodeling to fit the needs being offered.
