Volunteer Opportunities
Give the gift of your time and investment this Thanksgiving when you volunteer at our 16th Annual Love Your Neighbors Thanksgiving Day Lunch. Bring your family and spend your Thanksgiving loving our neighbors in our community. Sign up for one of the volunteer options below.
Set-Up [15 spots available]
November 22nd, 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Assist a team of volunteers the day before Thanksgiving with decorating, setting up tables and chair, and other items needed for the event. Some heavy lifting may be required.
Transport Thanksgiving Items [10 spots available]
Thanksgiving Day, 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
Meet at the Elevate Branson campus to transport items to the event. Heavy lifting required.
Food Runners [6 spots available]
Thanksgiving Day, 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.
Utilizing an Elevate Branson van, assist with picking up food items at Golden Corral or Famous Dave’s and bringing the items to the event. This position requires a valid driver’s license and you must be insurable.
Kitchen Team [30 spots available]
Thanksgiving Day, 9:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.
Assist a team of volunteers organizing food and serving in a serving line set up. Plate food, help keep food items warm, and help with clean up post event. Must be at least 16 years old.
Table Companions [150 spots available]
Thanksgiving Day, 10:00 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.
Sit and share a meal with individuals and families on Thanksgiving Day. Give the gift of compassion, conversation and community to our neighbors who may be spending Thanksgiving Day alone.
Food Servers [60 spots available]
Thanksgiving Day, 10:00 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.
Take orders from guests at tables in your section and serve dinner. Clean and reset tables, clean any spills, take out trash and other duties as assigned.
Bussers [15 spots available]
Thanksgiving Day, 10:00 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.
Bus tables after each guest has finished dinner and clean dishes. Assist with clean up post-event.
Event Clean-Up [15 spots available]
Thanksgiving Day, 1:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Once all guests are finished with their dinner, assist with post-event clean up. Take out trash, help take down decorations and put away tables, along with other duties as assigned.
