Tiffany’s Story
Before Elevate Work I was doing nothing. I was working as a housekeeper and stagnant in my growth. What I found most valuable in Elevate Work was creating an action plan. I had never before set goals for myself and accomplished them. The hardest part of the class was being honest with myself. My advice to students now is to embrace the mock interviews that you will do in class. I was at a job fair recently and heard other people interviewing and I just wanted to yell, “STOP”; you need to go to Elevate Work because you are messing this interview all up!”
I have had my Elevate Rides scooter for a year in June! It was and continues to be a game changer! I’ve been able to go to the lake, go hiking and grocery shopping. I interviewed at Silver Dollar City and was hired last season working at Famous Fancies Funnel Cakes.

I didn’t know how much I needed this class outside of employment until my mother unexpectedly passed away. The support system I have gained through this program walked me through the healing process. I had always promised my mom, I would get out of housekeeping and because of Elevate Work I was able to keep that promise to my mother.
By the way, check out my new SMILE! With the help of Elevate Connections, my mentor and Elevate Work Director; I now have a beautiful smile again! I now have a group of people around me to love me and encourage me in my new walk with the Lord.
