JOIN US THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 25TH FROM 1:00-5:00 PM AT THE JESUS WAS HOMELESS YELLOW BIKE SHOP

Jesus Was Homeless, a non-profit 501(c)3 Christian

organization in Branson, is hosting the grand opening of its volunteer Yellow Bike shop this Saturday, August 25th from 1:00- 5:00 pm.  There will be tours of the Yellow Bike shop, information on how to become involved, and light refreshments available to the public.

Jesus Was Homeless launched its Yellow Bike program in the Branson community in 2011 and is currently providing “free use” bicycles at area weekly and extended stay motels.  “We are extremely excited about the Yellow Bike program as it is helping people meet a transportation need that was identified in our community”, said Bryan Stallings, co-founder of Jesus Was Homeless.

Currently the Yellow Bike program has two locations with two bicycles each, complete with bike stand, signage, baskets and odometers on the bikes.  “We placed odometers on the bikes to track their usage with the hopes of being able to make a case for public transportation in the future”, said Stallings.  The bikes are free to use 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the residents of the motels.  “We can envision this becoming a community wide program even catering to the tourists that visit Branson”, said Stallings.

Individuals in need of their own bicycle for primary transportation can also obtain one through a new “Earn-a-Bike” program.  Volunteers are also needed to help maintain the fleet of “free use” Yellow Bikes.  No mechanical experience is necessary.  If you would like to volunteer your time to help repair bicycles or sponsor a Yellow Bike location, please contact Jesus Was Homeless at 417-335-0266 or visit www.jesuswashomeless.org.

The Jesus Was Homeless Yellow Bike shop is located on the backside of the Vista Plaza Shopping Center across from Wal-Mart on West Hwy 76.

LIFE SUPPORT Discussion Group

Have a heart for serving?  Love to serve?  So do we!  Not only do we believe in loving God and loving people, we also believe in serving others and creating a SERVOLUTION in our community  (A complete and radical change of a person’s life caused by simple acts of kindness for the glory of God).  Join us each month as we GO SERVE in our community at Gateway Branson.

Come join us September 9th from 2:00-4:00 pm as we clean up our community with a day of trash and debris pick-up.  You see it’s about serving, giving, and loving, not about getting.

GATEWAY BRANSON

Join us every Sunday at 10:30 am for FREE breakfast and “Church for people who don’t like church, where no perfect people are allowed!”  You don’t have to dress up.  Just COME AS YOU ARE. Everyone is welcome at Gateway regardless of what you think about church or God or religion.  Gateway Branson Internet Campus is a place where God meets people who are far from perfect.  This church is for people who don’t really like church.  This is a safe place for skeptics and doubters to ask their questions.  We know lots of people have been burned by church experiences in the past. We hope this is a place where everyone can sort out authentic faith in a very real God and begin to experience it themselves.  BUT DON’T STAY AS YOU ARE…Spectators find it’s hard to grow at this church.  Take a risk.  Meet some people.  Get involved. Go deeper.  Life change is about momentum – little steps you take toward God that lead to extraordinary results.

COME AS YOU ARE – Especially if you are

Broken – Tired Poor – Porn Addict – Smoker
