5th Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Dear Friends,

Please join us this Thanksgiving as we love and hug on many in our community that will be hungry, homeless and hurting this holiday season.  Due to the continued economic situation we’ve seen the need greatly increase this past year.  Families that were hanging onto the margins have now slid into poverty.  We see hundreds of children right here in our own community that need our help.  Our Thanksgiving Day Dinner will not be a success without your help by praying, supporting, volunteering or donating needed items for our free thrift store.  This Thanksgiving Jesus Was Homeless is extremely thankful to Famous Dave’s, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, The Methodist Church, our hundreds of dedicated volunteers, and those that we are humbly honored to serve.  What are you thankful about this Thanksgiving? Here is what just some of what the people we served at last year’s dinner were thankful about.

What Are You Thankful For?

Volunteer Thanksgiving Day With Us

We invite you to be part of this wonderful event. We need volunteers that want to help with set-up, tear down, kitchen, thriftstore, food runners, servers, and most importantly to love and hug on people. You can make a day of it, from 3:00-8:00 pm or just help for a short time. If you have a heart to volunteer we will find a place for you. For more information or to volunteer contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone and be sure to leave a message at 417-335-9915.
