Changing Lives One Meal At A Time

Dear Friends,

Jesus Was Homeless is not just about providing food, some would even say a “hand out”.  No, Jesus Was Homeless is about so much more.  It about building relationships.  It’s about offering encouragement.  It’s about coming alongside those in our community that are struggling.  It’s about changing lives.  Watch this video.

Volunteer Thanksgiving Day With Us

We invite you to be part of this wonderful event. We still need volunteers that want to help with set-up, tear down, kitchen, thriftstore, food runners, servers, and most importantly to love and hug on people. You can make a day of it, from 3:00-8:00 pm or just help for a short time. If you have a heart to volunteer we will find a place for you.

For more information or to volunteer contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone and be sure to leave a message at 417-335-9915.  If you have a special skill, like photography, decorating, etc. please let us know.

What Are You Thankful For?

What Is Being Said This Year...

“I just wanted to stop by here and say that I think what you guys do for the people of our community is great!!!!! It is inspiring, and truly a blessing and proof that there is good in this world.” – Brandon

“They helped in many ways. Most important, through their friendship, they helped me find God after a long absence in my life.” – Dennis

“Larry and I go every Thursday in the day and help make the lunches for you guys to deliver. We love it. What a blessing we receive for serving and helping this organization. We plan on helping at the Thanksgiving dinner also.” – DiAnn

In Closing,

Please remember what the Thanksgiving season is all about.  Be thankful for all the blessings God has provided and show someone your love.

4 Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. 5 For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.

                                                                                                                                               – 1 Timothy 4:4-5

Sincerely,

Bryan & Amy Stallings
